A Beautiful Apple for You my Dear!

Where did this week go? I can't believe that it's been a whole week since I posted, but there it is...Friday staring at me once more from the calendar. But that means that it's time for Friday Fairy Tale Finds...so there's that! But first, I have added a few new dolls to the shop so let me share...

Aren't they cute? There are some more too (and some coming later today) but you'll just have to go see for yourself....:)
Now on to the Fairy Tale! Today's finds are from Snow White. Did you know that in the original story the wicked queen was NOT a step mother but the poor girl's actual mom? Horrific parents abound in fairy tales, but on to my finds...
First I have to share a gorgeous representation of the famous girl:

Snow White with Poison Apple by one of my favorite illustrators, Darkling Woods Studio.

Wouldn't this gown would be perfect for channeling your inner evil queen? The Sorceress from Legends by Lara.

And of course you'll need a mirror. I think this vintage one by From Gray to Gold looks like it would be perfect!

Now for some apples! How about these lovely felted ones created by Cozy Cottage Creations?

And last but not least we have to have a dwarf or two! I love this little fellow from my friend Orit of Orit Dotan Dolls.
And we'll finish with another dwarf from another friend, Kelley of Little Elf's Toy Shop.

I hope you enjoyed your wander through the finds today, have a great weekend!

  6. How fun, I love all of that stuff! Strangely enough I was just reading an analysis of Snow White this morning, and it mentioned the version with the real mom :)
