A Winter Fae

I don't know about you but here winter has seemed to go on forever, it's been so cold! But she is a beautiful season in her own way.

I've made a final (for this year!) Winter fairy and her name is Neve which is Italian for snow...doesn't that fit her perfectly? Her dress top is made from some of my collage fabric and the bottom is layers of glittery snowflake netting.

She's available in my Etsy store.

WIP Wednesday

I couldn't resist taking this photo yesterday as these girls were waiting for their hair glue to dry...

 Bad hair days happen to Everybody!

But they soon were sorted out and looking much better. Here are some of the new dolls you can now find in the shop.

WIP Wednesday...and Something finished Too

 So let's start with the WIP...I admit to having more than a little fun with this one...

Two Alices and a Red Riding seem to have left their stories for the excitement of Paris and Moulin Rouge....Ooo La La!

And now a finished doll, a commission Merfae. I loved making her and I'm thrilled with how she came out.

WIP Wednesday

Cozy...that's the word that perfectly describes my morning here at The Nest. My Solstice tree is up and lit, I have bread baking in the kitchen, and I've been working on a set of cinnamon babies for a commission so the house is scented with a delightful mix of wonderful aromas. The sunlight is streaming in my dining room windows as I work giving everything a lovely glow and if anything making it all even more ...well cozy. Such a nice way to spend a cold December morning.

I added a few more items to the shop this week, 3 little acorn hatted (is that a word?) pin dolls and a set of snowflake lavender babies. Here's a little peek...

Holiday dolls coming today!

A peek at a few of the pixies that I will be listing in the shop today...there are also holly, peppermint, and snow pixies! They will all be there at 12 noon EST...Enjoy! EDIT The shop listings will be delayed because it won't stop raining so I can get photos! Grrrr. New dolls will be listed at 6pm EST tonight.
