WIP Wednesday - Vintage trim

I've been having a wonderful time this month working on some new designs for my smaller dolls. I'm making more sculpted faces and putting a lot more detail into their clothing and accessories. This week I've been pulling out some of my vintage lace and trims. Lovely old lace...

and sweet tiny ric rac.

There are also some fairly extravagant wings and a little white mouse!  I hope to finish these soon but they do take much more time to make with all the details and I want them to be just right...you know how that is! What have you been working on this month?

  1. Cute! Love the little.... skirts? Can't wait to see them finished.

I've been working on various sculpts and dolls myself.
Guess I should make a WIP Wednesday post myself, huh?

Have a good rest of the week!

  2. Those ric rac skirts are so pretty; you do find the loveliest tiny fabrics. I understand absolutely about the details. It's that that final fiddling with trimmings and laces that makes dollmaking such fun (and sometimes, completely exasperating!)
