WIP Wed...um Thursday

So things are starting to return to normal around here...or what passes for normal anyway...and while I didn't get a WIP post done yesterday (or last week for that matter, yikes!) I have one today. So here we go....TOES!

Autumn Pin Dolls

These dolls will be live in the shop at 1pm EST today. They are the colors of Autumn leaves, 3" tall, with silk duponi dresses and little acorn hats. Just the thing to pin on a Fall outfit!

WIP Wednesday

For today's WIP I have a pile of tiny pin dolls, each less than 3 inches tall, on one of my favorite doll books...Miss Hickory. Have you read this one? It's such a sweet and gentle story.

I have many favorite books about dolls, Hitty: Her First Hundred Years, The Hidden House, Big Susan , The Mennyms, The Doll People, all the wonderful Lonely Doll stories, and of course the Raggedy Anne & Andy books. Do you have a favorite that's not on the list? Please do share!!

The Dolls of September...

I've been working really hard this month ( and some of last month too!) to get a bunch of dolls ready for a gallery show.  I will be one of 3 artists featured at Earthworks Gallery  for the month of October and if you happen to be in Greensboro NC on Friday night October 5th, Do please come by and see me at the opening!
I packed up all the little dolls before I took pictures but I thought you might like to see the bigger ones.
