This was the view out my back door this morning. As my grandmother would say, "It's a Winter Wonderland!" ...now she lived in upper state New York and would say this even in blizzard conditions, but that's another story.... Of course this being N.Carolina the snow is almost completely gone this afternoon and the forecast is for 62 degrees tomorrow. But it was a nice Valentine's day surprise.
You know, when I hear that phrase, "its a winter wonderland", all I can ever think of is Morning, and her euphemistic approach, both positive and negative - and I'm shaking my head as I write thism thinking of her.
ReplyDeleteI am SO jealous that you guys got snow! I'm sure we needed it more, but did we get any? Oh Hell No! I heard on the radio the other day that there is a local business whose whole product is making it snow in your yard - "great for birthdays and bar mitzvahs!" Well, it was something like that. I'm thinking of giving them a call, but I'm wondering if the new water restrictions have shut them down.
Jealous jealous jealous jealous!!!!We never get snow, ever. I think central NC is becoming the new Florida (and don't even get me started on summer!).
